History of Amatsu
Amatsu is a Japanese physical therapy dating back hundreds of years. It approaches physical problems in a practical manner, whilst addressing the patient’s whole body system. It gains its success via a number of techniques including; clinical massage, mobilisation, physical re-patterning and cranial balancing.
Amatsu was brought from Japan to the west by Dennis Bartram, Chris Roworth and William Doolan. They were granted full teaching rights to train practitioners and continue to study under their teacher Dr Masaaki Hatsumi in Japan
